The play is a thought-provoking theatrical work about the issues of belonging, love and acceptance that many LGBTQ-identifying individuals - especially young people - experience. It was a play written from a personal perspective with many universal themes.
Following the performance, director Margot Manburg and the talented cast held a private talkback with FABUM's youth group and attendees, which lasted late into the evening.
Students and young people will send their thoughts and reactions to playwright Georgette Kelly, who personally encouraged it.
FABUM is grateful for the support of the Human Rights Campaign and George Washington University for their assistance in organizing young people of all identities to take part in the evening.
