Washington, DC: On Wednesday May 2nd, author Wendy Lesser, winner of this year’s Marfield Prize (also known as the National Award for Arts Writing), stopped by the School Without Walls High School for a discussion on art, architecture and writing. Lots of great questions and creative engagement! Her book is You Say to Brick: The Life of Louis Kahn.

FABUM coordinates speakers and activities in partnership with SWW and DC Public Schools, and launched its Youth Program for a Better Understanding in 2012 as a creative extracurricular and in-classroom engagement program. The organization also maintains an internship program with the school.
